Depending on air flow it may take longer to dry out the room or nearby bathroom.

A dehumidifier can also be used in a bathroom if necessary to control humidity, would recommend "low" or "auto" setting.

The 10 degrees increase would only be likely in a smaller room if the unit is left on "high" or "turbo" mode.
