Yes, you can choose to switch the UV-C light on or off. Additionally, you can also remove the UV lamp from the air purifier.

Note: The ionizer/ion generator automatically turns on and off at the same time as the UV-C light hence if you turn off the UV-C option, the ionizer also will be shut off.
