These are the possible causes and checks:
1. Room temperature too low (very common)
Compressor models work best in warmer conditions
Try operating the unit during the day or in a warmer room
If the area is consistently cold or damp, a desiccant dehumidifier may be more suitable
2.Humidity level already low
If room humidity is below approximately 50–55%, the unit may not extract much water
Check the humidity setting (humidistat)
Set the target humidity to 40–50% or use Continuous Mode
3.Water tank or float sensor issue
If the water tank is not seated correctly, the unit may not run properly
Remove and reinstall the tank firmly
Check that the float mechanism moves freely and is not stuck
4.Restricted airflow
Blocked intake or exhaust airflow can prevent proper dehumidification
Clean the air filter and ensure there is clear airflow around the unit.
Please run the unit in Laundry Mode for 2 hours and check if the compressor turns on during operation.
Compressor dehumidifiers may have reduced performance in room temperatures below approximately 15°C, so the issue could be related to low ambient temperature.
Kindly check if the compressor starts during the 2-hour test and if the unit begins collecting water.
