If there is an odour coming from the air outlet of the Ionmax Lavish Air Purifier (ION350), you can check the following:
1. New Unit Odour : If the unit is brand new, a slight odour is normal (often from the new carbon filter or manufacturing materials) and typically dissipates after a few days of regular operation.
2. Remove Filter Packaging : Ensure that all plastic packaging wrapping the filters has been completely removed before using the unit. Leaving plastic on restricts airflow and can trap odours.
3. Clean or Replace Filters : If the unit has been in use for a while, the filters may have accumulated dust or absorbed household odours. Clean the pre-filter or replace the composite HEPA and activated carbon filter as needed.
