The ION650 Rhine Dehumidifier may display an FL error message for the following reasons:


1. Water tank issues – The tank may not be properly seated, full, or missing, which triggers the FL (full) warning.

2. Sensor malfunction – The water level sensor might be stuck, dirty, or faulty, causing a false FL reading.

3. Internal component issue – Less commonly, an internal electrical or control board problem can cause the error to appear.


Recommended steps:


  1. Ensure the water tank is correctly installed and not overfilled.
  2. Remove and reinstall the tank to make sure it’s seated properly.
